Health 2.0 Pavilion at Maker Faire Bay Area

Health 2.0 is thrilled to announce the Health 2.0 Pavilion at the upcoming Maker Faire Bay Area 2011 in San Mateo, CA May 21-22, 2011.

I know I’ve written about Make before - they’re leading the maker movement. Bringing together families and individuals that celebrate the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) lifestyle, Maker Faire is the premier event for grassroots American innovation - bringing in an estimated 95,00 attendees!

We’ll host a curated agenda of speakers, presentations, makers, technology demos and sponsored project areas over the 2 days of the Maker Faire Bay Area - focusing on topics like Quantified Self, DIY Clinical Trials, hacking health devices, and utilizing the Microsoft Kinect.

As you may recall, we partnered with Make: Magazine in February for our Boston Health 2.0 Developer Challenge Code-a-thon - and they brought out all of the toys, including Arduinos, 3-D printers and Kinects. We were so excited to see some of the new innovation that we came out of that day - including Team Triangle, who went on to win the Spring Health 2.0 Developer Challenge competition.

Don’t miss out on all of the amazing new tools that we’ll be showing for the first time - register today! Sponsorship is still available - for more information, contact Hillary McCowen.
