The Department of Veterans Affairs purchased a DecisionSim Enterprise License for its National SimLEARN Program. The contract will provide 43,000 VHA employees access to virtual cases in which their decisions-making skills can be evaluated and improved.

GoHealth landed a big funding deal with $50 million in equity investment from Norwest Equity Partners. GoHealth allows users to shop, compare and purchase health coverage on the Web or through an agent. The service provides side-by-side plan comparison and user set filters.

A study published in the Journal of American Medical Informatics Association looked at physician use of technology relative to demographics, specialty, and practice setting. The results show that physician use of technology is mostly determined by demographics, not practice-related characteristics.

WellnessFX and Labcrop announced a partnership on Thursday. Three hundred Labcorp facilities in Washington, Oregon, and California will now provide lab tests for WellnessFX’s online health diagnostic tool, WellnessFX Baseline.
