Health 2.0 Code-a-thon at the Kaiser Center for Total Health, Washington, D.C.

After three very successful Health 2.0 Code-a-thons earlier this year, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be returning to Washington, D.C. for our next code-a-thon at the Kaiser Center for Total Health June 11, 2011!

The Center for Total Health opened just last week and is a truly amazing site built as a place for the public, policymakers and the health care industry to come together to interact with, learn and discuss health. An ideal place to have a code-a-thon if you ask us!

Whether you’re a developer, designer, patient or advocate, we want to see you there! Over the course of eight hours, Health 2.0 Code-a-thons encourage rapid development of tools and applications for health. The best solutions win prizes, so bring your best ideas!

You can bring a pre-formed team or join one on the spot. There will be speakers, food, lots of coding and at the end of the day, presentations from each team and the announcement winners. Registration is FREE and you won’t want to miss out.

Also, don’t forget to register for the Health 2.0 Network. It’s a great way to connect with other participants and to stay up to date with the Developer Challenge and Health 2.0 events in general. As a member you can join the group created just for attendees of the June 11th code-a-thon. We highly encourage you to connect with each other beforehand (it’s NOT against the rules!).
